Monecia’s Overall Assessment based on Simpli5: Monecia is precise, meticulous, rational, and the ultimate skeptic. Organized and effective, she arrives on time and well prepared, with t's crossed and i's dotted. Others recognize her as a consummate planner — conscientious and eager to do the right thing in the right way. Monecia has a tendency to be a perfectionist and her attention to detail can be painstaking. Monecia loves to think and analyze. She approaches all things with thoughtfulness and care, working hard in every area of life to achieve things of which she can feel proud. Others see these natural instincts as a great asset to the team and the organization. People depend on her ability to logically consider options and then deliver articulate guidance. As a result, her opinions are well respected and held in high esteem.
Monecia’s Top 5 Strengths and a description of each :
1. Discipline
Monecia’s world needs to be predictable. It needs to be ordered and planned. So she instinctively imposes structure on her world. She sets up routines. She focuses on timelines and deadlines. She breaks long-term projects into a series of specific short-term plans and works through each plan diligently. Faced with the inherent messiness of life, Monecia uses routines, timelines, and structure to create a feeling of control. Lacking this theme of Discipline, others may sometimes resent her need for order.
2. Achiever
The Achiever theme helps explain Monecia’s drive. Achiever describes a constant need for achievement. She feels as if every day starts at zero. By the end of the day, she must achieve something tangible. And by “every day”, we mean every single day—workdays, weekends, vacations. There is an internal fire burning and it pushes Monecia to achieve more. After each accomplishment is reached, the fire dwindles for a moment, but very soon it rekindles itself, forcing her toward the next accomplishment.
3. Focus
Monecia routinely asks herself “Where am I headed?”. Guided by this theme of Focus, Monecia needs a clear destination. And so, each year, each month, and even each week, she sets goals. These goals then serve as her compass, helping her determine priorities and make the necessary corrections to get back on course. Her Focus is powerful because it forces her to filter; to instinctively evaluate whether or not a particular action will help her move toward her goal. Those that do not are ignored. In the end, then, her Focus forces her to be efficient. Naturally, the flip side of this is that it causes her to become impatient with delays, obstacles, and even tangents, no matter how intriguing they appear to be. This makes you an extremely valuable team member. When others start to wander down other avenues, Monecia brings them back to the main road. Her Focus reminds everyone that if something is not helping you move toward your destination, then it is not important. And if it is not important, then it is not worth her time. Monecia keeps everyone on point.
4. Consistency
Balance is important to Monecia. She is keenly aware of the need to treat people the same, no matter what their station in life, so she does not want to see the scales tipped too far in any one person’s favor. In her view this leads to selfishness and individualism. It leads to a world where some people gain an unfair advantage because of their connections or their background or their greasing of the wheels. In direct contrast to this world of special favors, you believe that people function best in a consistent environment where the rules are clear and are applied to everyone equally. This is an environment where people know what is expected. It is predictable and evenhanded. It is fair. Here each person has an even chance to show his or her worth.
5. Learner
Monecia loves to learn. The process, more than the content or the result, is especially exciting for her. She is energized by the steady and deliberate journey of learning new topics. The thrill of the first few facts, the early efforts to recite or practice what she has learned, the growing confidence of a skill mastered—this is the process that entices her. The Learning theme enables Monecia to thrive in dynamic work environments where she is asked to take on short project assignments and is expected to learn a lot about the new subject matter in a short period of time and then move on to the next one.
Monecia scored highest in the Conscientiousness dimension. As a result, she works steadily within the existing circumstances to ensure quality and accuracy.
Those who are strong in the Conscientiousness (“high C’s”) like to be precise and keep their focus on key details while working in an environment that values quality and accuracy. High C’s like to be accurate and orderly, and they make decisions in an analytical way. They prefer to control factors that affect their performance and seek opportunities to demonstrate their expertise.
High C’s tend to be analytical thinkers who relish asking, “Why?” It is probably important for them to understand the parameters of a problem before they tackle it. Once the task is clear, people who are high in Conscientiousness tend to use a systematic approach to solve the problem. The goal is to achieve superior results.
They may also crave a work atmosphere that is reserved and businesslike, and that gives them the time to do the careful planning that they prefer.
Monecia’s Overall Assessment based on the 4 categories (Individual Awareness, Interpersonal Collaboration, Team Effectiveness, and Organizational Agility), Monecia scored extremely high in Quadrant B (Planner, Controlled, Conservative, Organizational, Administrative). The preferences suggest a natural inclination toward organization, reliability, efficiency, order, and/or discipline. Prioritized tasks are tackled in a systematic, time-conscious, and sequential manner all the way to completion. This quadrant is mindful of logistical constraints and is methodical and attentive to detail. Skills of this quadrant include operational planning, quality assurance, risk identification, execution and implementation, administration, and project management.
